By the Greek Government decision the sea side hotels in Greece will remain closed until May, 14. Thus the tourism season will start in the mid of May this year. However most of the hotels complain that they do not have bookings for the month of May. People seem to remain unsure to arrange their holidays yet.
The hotels are planing their openings around the end of May - beginning of June and some of them even in the mid of June. Unfortunatelly there is noting sure for the moment.
Good part?
Unlike the previous year people are better prepared to deal with the pandemic situation. Greece expect to start the tourism season sooner and with a smaller delay in comparison to 2020.
