The first year of summer holidays I wanted to go to Greece for seasonal work, I heard about Job Trust from my classmate. I registered on the website and the Job Trust called me back in 2 days. I collected all the necessary documents and was ready to leave.
The reason why I chose Greece is simply that I like hot countries and one of them was Greece,because I had not been there yet and I decided to go there.
Job Trust sent me to the island of Crete, which I am very happy about, I worked in a 5 star hotel in Georgioupolis village. A very beautiful and quiet place suitable for families and couples.
I worked on the beach and at the same time in the bar, I had a morning shift, I served guests on the beach, took orders and went to the bar for ready orders, it was very hot to work on the beach, but I can easily tolerate the heat.
Relationships with colleagues were good,Greeks and colleagues from different countries were friendly as well. On the beach I met a colleague who worked as a lifeguard on the beach and we fell in love with each other and since then we have been together and we got married.
In our free time we traveled around Crete to different famous beaches, we also visited local clubs, restaurants and cafes.
I worked in Greece for 2.5 seasons, my expectations from the work were met, everything was truthful and on any questions Job Trust answered me on time during my stay in Greece.
After Crete, I came every summer to work seasonally in Greece with my husband. We worked on islands such as: Corfu, Kos, Halkidiki, Mykonos. I worked in the restaurant business, then guest relations, reception and in the Watersports business. Now I work as a tour guide.
In general I really like all parts of Greece and especially the islands. The atmosphere there is unusual. The people are very warm, friendly and hospitable. I have a lot of good memories of Greece, especially from the island of Crete.
